Did you know that a single plastic bottle can take up to 450 years to decompose fully? In this blog, we’ll explore some projects to help improve the global environment.

Plastic bottles are one of the leading causes of pollution.

1."Green Happiness" - 1 healthy tree, millions of happy people

The first task is about coastal forest restoration. In recent years, some areas in Soc Trang have been covered in mud stretching along the beaches for thousands of kilometers. The sparse forests provide little habitat for wildlife, leaving many species unable to survive. To address this, the local government has implemented measures to protect and restore the environment. 

Cooperation in Forest Symphony Ninh Thuan Project- Planting forests to conserve water

Every day, volunteers from the "Tree Planting Group" plant around 50 trees. Starting in early May, the project also built fences and walls to safeguard young trees. By the campaign's end, they had planted over 1,000 trees, restoring 84 hectares of forest.

Many rows of trees are planted along the fence to help the environment greener.

2.Saigon Green Squad

Another inspiring initiative is the "For a Greener Saigon" project    (revitalizing urban canals), which focuses on cleaning and revitalizing canals in Ho Chi Minh City and other urban areas. Initially, the project started with just five volunteers. Over time, participation grew to over 500 individuals eager to make a difference.

The volunteers have worked hard to raise public awareness through social media platforms like Facebook and Ticktock. They also utilized scientific advancements to improve the canals’ conditions. Thanks to their dedication, the environment around the canals has significantly enhanced, showcasing the passion and determination of young people.
